About 3 Day Huchuy Qosqo Trek to Machu Picchu

3 Day Huchuy Qosqo Trek to Machu Picchu. Huchuy Qosqo means small Cusco is the most important archaeological center in the Urubamba River valley, after Ollantaytambo and Pisac. Its archaeological remains are impressive, although today it remains little deteriorated due to antiquity. It was the favorite place of the eighth Inca ruler, Wiraqocha. From where he conquered all the sacred valley tribes. This amazing Inca town was connected to the famous Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and in 1540 it was used by the Spaniards as a farm.

Today, Huchuy Qosqo is a beautiful tourist circuit of 2 and 3 days with connection to the Machu Picchu Inca city, the wonder of the world. The hike is done through an original Inca trail that connected all the Inca villages located in the Sacred Valley and the Amazon rainforest.

The Chinchero, Taucca and the Sacred Valley Inca descendants still use this road to exchange their products, such as potatoes from Chinchero and white corn from the Sacred Valley.

If you take this hike, you will spend a night in the heights of the Sacred Valley of the Incas with excellent panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and the Urubamba River Valley. You will also have the option to visit a native community to see the Inca weaving process and visit one of the new 7 wonders of the world.
